The short version: the app sends nothing, and this website counts nothing.

The app

Systune does its work entirely on your Mac. It has no analytics, no crash reporting and no usage tracking. It does not upload file names, scan results, settings or system information anywhere. You can run it with the network off and nothing changes.

What it writes, it writes locally and you can read: a history log and settings snapshots under ~/Library/Application Support/systune, and preferences in ~/.config/systune. Both are readable only by your account. Deleting those folders removes everything Systune has ever stored.

The iPhone companion

The companion talks to one Mac, on your own network, using a pairing code you generate on that Mac. There is no account, no cloud relay and no server in between. The pairing is held in memory on the phone and is gone when the app closes.

Buying

If you buy directly, the payment processor handles your card — we never see it — and we keep your email address and licence key so we can re-send it. Nothing else. If you buy through the Mac App Store, Apple handles the whole transaction and shares nothing with us beyond aggregate sales figures.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no tag managers, no fonts loaded from anyone else. The page is static files on a CDN. Your browser's request reaches the host, which keeps ordinary server logs for a short period; we do not build profiles from them.

The waitlist

If you enter your email address on the waitlist, we store that address and the date you entered it. Not your IP address, not your browser, not which page you came from. It is kept in a Cloudflare key-value store that only we can read, and it is never sold, rented, shared or used to build an audience anywhere else.

You will get at most two emails: one when the beta opens and one when Systune ships. There is no newsletter and no sequence. Reply to either one and we delete the address outright — we do not keep a suppression list with your name on it.

Your browser also remembers locally that you joined, so the form does not ask you again. That is stored on your own device and is never sent anywhere.

To stop automated abuse the form counts how many submissions have come from one network address in the past hour. It does this against a salted one-way hash of that address, which cannot be turned back into it, is never attached to your signup, and is discarded within the hour. The address itself is never written down.
